Before & After Your Wax

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

• Allow 3–4 weeks of hair growth, or around 1cm, for best results.
• Gently exfoliate 24-48 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid heavy moisturisers, oils or self-tan on the day.
• For intimate waxing, arrive clean and comfortable.
• On your period? You can still be waxed - please wear a tampon or menstrual cup.
• Feeling nervous? If paracetamol is normally safe for you to take, you may choose to take your usual dose 30-60minutes before your appointment.

•Avoid touching the freshly waxed area for 24hours to help keep the skin clean and reduce the risk of irritation and folliculitis.
• Your skin may be pink or sensitive — this is normal.
• For 24 hours avoid heat, hot baths, saunas and strenuous exercise.
• Keep the area clean, cool and moisturised.
• Begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.
